FINALLY!!

I was so proud of my crafty idea. The cute towel rack with the Utes logo is my favorite part of Tim's bathroom.

My bathroom (yes we do have our own bathrooms and I love it that way and don't know if I will ever go back to sharing.) I made the floral wall hangings. Another craft I am pretty proud of!

I love having a bedroom big enough for a chair and still have room to walk.
Our bedroom with our sweet closet

Sorry this picture is a little dark, it's just part of the living room

I love all the spaces I have on top of the cupboards and the top of the walls to decorate! It was so much fun to get everything all put together.

Our couch is so nice and comfortable. The ottomans add the finishing touch!

This room is our modge podge room. It just has our old couch and some pictures that needed to be hung but I didn't want them in the front room. Out this window you can see both the Jordan River Temple and the Daybreak Temple. It is really cool. They are however building another building out that window so we soon will loose that view.

After much trial, frustration, and yelling at the computer I finally got the pictures from my camera to the computer! Here is just some more random pics. I meant to do the "before" and then the "after" of our new place but couldn't so here is our new place now after we painted and decorated! We absolutly love our place!! We would love to have you over sometime!!

AAAAAAA!!!

What in the world are we supposed to do with all of this snow? I hate the snow so bad. Lucky Tim had to do nothing but sit at home today while his loving wife had to leave and go face the storm and go into work. Little did I know that it was only going to get worse! This is awful!!! Well I wish you all the best of luck today in all of your goings and comings.

Sweet!!! I finally figured out how to make our picture not so ginormas! I feel a little better about myself, and I know Tim will be much happier. He has been wanting me to call someone or some how find out how to change that. So there you go Tim...I did it for you! (And now my face magnified by 10 won't be the only thing that everyone, and when I say everyone I mean the few people that actually read our blog, sees when "The Peterson Post" pops up).

Hope everyone's holiday season is going just great! If you're like Tim it might feel a little more like Christmas now that there is a little bit of snow on the ground. We are very excited!! I have been done shopping for a couple weeks now and Tim is mostly finished but we still don't have any gifts under our tree. We both use our parents house as our secret storage and we just haven't gotten around to getting them over to our place to wrap. So that will be this weekends chore. What a great time of year!!

Tim and I get to be the holiday sacrament meeting program on Sunday. YAY for us! We'll see how that goes. Tim got a calling last week... Elder's Quarm President!!! We went in to get our temple recommends renewed and they hit us woth our talking assignemnts and then when we went to get them signed by the stake presidency that's when he got us about Tim's new calling. So that will be a challenge that Tim is excited for. Kind of crazy to have such a responsibility after only being in the ward for a little over a month. I'm excited for him and think he will do a great job! As for me I'm still trying to fly under the radar. We'll see how long that lasts.

Other than that we are just living our normal everday lives. Still trying to get the pictures from my camera to the computer. One step at a time right.

Some very random pictures

So I kind of figured out how to put pictures on here but I only know how to do it if the pictures are on a CD. I took some new pictures of our house last night of our house all put together (after pictures to go along with the before pictures) but they are just on my camera and I don't know how to put them up. One step at a time right. So here is this randomness for now and hopefully soon I will have more time to waste and will learn how to transfer the others.

We are not dead

So I know it has been forever. I am the most computer illiterate person on earth. Even though it has been 2 months or something still not a lot has happened in our lives.
The biggest thing that has happened is we MOVED!! We moved the end of October. We are all settled in and are loving it so much!! It feels so good to finally have a place that really feels like our home. Tim painted our living room and our kitchen and is just waiting for my permission to paint everything else. It does really add such a homey feeling to the place but I just don't want to over due it and I don't know what colors we would even do anywhere else. So for now our rich brown kitchen and our lucious green living room will do.
Other big news is I cut my hair short! It really is the first time that I have had short hair ( I did have shorter hair when I was a younger but at that time I think my mom still did my hair). I did it almost 2 weeks ago but I am still caught off gaurd when I go to wash or comb it. Short hair has extended my beautifying in the morning by almost 15 minutes though. Luckily it's not hard to take the extra 15 minutes when you don't work until 10:00. Other than that I am really liking it. It was for sure time for a change. It feels so good. Thanks Heather for doing a great job!!
Thanksgiving was fantastic! We actually hosted dinner at our new home. We had my family over. I didn't really cook except for corn, rolls, and a salad ( and Mr. Tom Turkey dod cook in my oven but I didn't have to do anything with that except bask in his delicious smell!!). It turned out very nice. We did visit with Tim's family for a little bit. His brother and sister-in-law came down from Logan. It's always fun to visit with family during the holiday season.
I took my sister and went out and did some black Friday shopping and loved it!! I can't tell you the great deals because with my luck this would be the only post that Tim would actually read and then I waould ruin a good chunck of his Christmas. But it was a lot of fun and it's only about 11 more months until I get to do it agian!!
I am loving that it is December 5th and there is no snow yet!! I really hate the snow and would love if Utah winter's were always like this. Ya ya ya... global warming blah blah blah. I love it!! Tim disagree's and says that it's not Christmas without snow and it's to hard to get in the mood of Christmas when there is no snow and it's still in the 40's and we still don't need to wear coats outside. While all of this is true I still really am thankful for the lack of snow.
I have also discovered Facebook with the help of friends, family, and co-workers. I share the same love for that as I do for blog stalking. It is great to see all my old friends. I actually posted some pictures on that so now I am hoping that I can get some posted on our blog. I'll have to see if I can figure it out.
We are also loving that it isn't costing us what seems to be a million dollars on gas. It's a beautiful thing to be able to fill up and not see it go over $50. B-E-A-UTFUL! It kinda makes me just want ot drive my car just so I can fill up more often.
Well I really should get back to what I should be doing (which is working). I am glad I finally figured out how to post (even though it was right in front of my face the whole time. I told you I am very computer illiterate). Tonight we are going to the jazz game. They should win but who knows, there have been a few games they should have won and didn't. They need some extra prayers at this time. Let's send some up for them.
